Biography

June A. McDaniels, 60, of Beloit, Wisconsin, died, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her home in Beloit.

The former June Ann Corey was born, June 8, 1949 in Daggett, Michigan, the daughter of Gilbert and Joan (Hansen)Coery. She graduated from Edgerton High School in Edgerton, Wisconsin. June lived in the Beloit and Janesville area for fifty-two years, coming from Daggett, Michigan. She married Rollie McDaniels on March 23, 1973 in Stephenson, Michigan. June had been employed at the Beloit Shopping News for many years, eventually becoming a office manager. She will be remembered as a person with a big heart who was loving, and giving. June enjoyed collecting Native American Indian artifacts, playing cards with family and friends, and fishing.

June is survived by her husband, Rollie, daughter, Jennifer McDaniels of Beloit, son Rodney (Rhonda) McDaniels, of Beloit, six grandchildren, Patrick McDaniels, Shelby Harold, Angel McDaniels, Amber Harold, Marissa Lindsey, and Ashley McDaniels, two sisters. Edna Corey of Madison, Wisconsin, and Robertaa Corey-Miller of Jansevile, along with numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a time for sharing of memories beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home in Beloit.. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.hansengravitt.com.
