Biography

Wayne J. Strong, 68, of Beloit, Wisconsin, died on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Premier Rehab in Beloit.

Wayne John Strong was born on May 26, 1941 in Queens, New York. The son of Ralph R. and Elsie (Kosmer) Strong. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1962. Wayne had been employed as a truck driver for a recycling company out east. Prior to living in Beloit, Wayne lived in Deleware, and Florida. He enjoyed playing bingo, woodcrafting, fishing, and going to woodcrafting shows, antique shows, and craft stores. Wayne would do anything for anybody, especially for those that at the apartment building that he lived in. His memory will be remembered and cherished by his longtime friend and companion, Grace DeMontigny and her grandchildren whom he loved as if they were his own.

He is survived by his two sisters, two brothers, longtime friend and companion, Grace DeMontigny and her grandchildren, Jay DeMontigny, LeeAnn DeMontigny, Brittany DeMontigny, Kristina Platt, Sonny Platt, and Gary Platt. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-in-law, and a niece.
