Phillip D. Moore, 61, of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Beloit, Wisconsin, died, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Kenosha Medical Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Phillip Douglas Moore was born on April 27, 2010 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of James Clabon and Helen (Wilson) Moore. Phillip graduated from Beloit Memorial Memorial High School and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. For most of his working life Phillip was employed in the construction field in Beloit and California. For a short period of time he acted as a laison for parollies by assisting their rehabilitation into construction jobs. He enjoyed listening to Jazz music, and refereeing basketbal and baseball games for the Beloit Park District.
Phillip is survived by two daughters, Mercedes Helen (David) Christensen of Phoenix, AZ, and Tissia Moore of Chicago, IL, two sons, Adam Phillip Moore of San Francisco, CA, and Dominic Phillip Moore of Chicago, IL, two grandchildren, Nolan and Camille Christensen of Phoenix, AZ, two sisters, Barbara (AL) Aldridge of Indianapolis, IN, and Shirley (James) Alexander of Atlanta, GA, and brother, James Moore of Beloit, along with numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services are 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Floral Lawn Cemetery in South Beloit, IL. Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home in Beloit, Wisconsin is honored to be assisting the family.
