Biography
Rosemary Hanmer, 79, of Beloit, Wisconsin, died, Monday, June 14, 2010 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit.
The former Rosemary Aldrich was born on August 17, 1930 in Beloit, the daughter of George William and Ruth Margaret (Doty) Aldrich. Rosemary graduated from Blackhawk Technical College and was employed as a nurse in Beloit for many years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, fishing, birdwatching, tending to her plants, and watching westerns on television.
Rosemary was the mother of Robert Collins, Richard "Dusty" Collins, Charles Allen, Jerry Wesenberg, and William Wesenberg, and the sister of Donald E. Aldrich.
Rosemary requested that no funeral services were to be held. Memorial donations be given to the American Lung Association. The family would like to thank everyone at The Rock County Department of Human Services, Meals-On-Wheels, and the staff at Beloit Memorial Hospital for taking care of Rosemary during her final days.
