Biography

Annette Aeschlimann, 86, of Beloit, Wisconsin, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Annette Irene Herrick was born April 10, 1922 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Stich) Herrick. She married Fred "Fritz" Aeschlimann on November 25, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1984. Annette was a volunteer and donor to the Red Cross Blood Drive. She was an avid reader, and supporter of the Beloit-Janesville Symphony, loved dancing, watching and playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family. Annette made the decision many years ago to make her body available, following her death, for study at the University of Wisconsin Medical School.

Annette is survived by three daughters, Ann (James) Brink, McFarland, WI, Jane (Jack) Bittorf, Beloit, WI, and Amy (Bruce) Bishop, Beloit, WI, and a son John Aeschlimann, Madison, WI, seven grandchildren, Nicole (Terry) Cilley, Sara (Mike) Malofsky, Jamie (Chuck) Seils, Jennifer, and Amanda, Bishop, Elizabeth and David Aeschlimann, three great-grandchildren, Noah and Joshua Cilley, and Chesney Bishop. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

A funeral mass of celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Beloit, where Annette was a longtime member. Friends are welcome to greet the family one hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to OLA Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Premier Care, and Beloit Memorial Hospital for the loving care given to Annette.
