Terez Trevale Herd, 23, of Beloit, Wisconsin, departed this earthly life on Monday, January 19, 2015. Terez was born December 27, 1991 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of Terrence Levale Herd and Felicia A. Gammons. Terez aatended schools in the Beloit School System, graduating from Beloit Memorial High School in June 2010. Terez enjoyed playing basketball and listening to music. He loved spending time with his daughter, Nalaya, family and friends. He was always smiling, laughing and telling jokes. Terez leaves to cherish many loving memories, his daughter, Nalaya Herd, his parents, Felicia Gammons, and Terrence Herd, two brothers, De Anthony McShan, and Zarion Herd, sister, Tiana Oliver, maternal grandparents, Hattie (Roy) Malone, and Lawrence (Annette) Gammons, paternal grandparents, Carolyn Herd, and Dallas Washington, great-grandmother, Ruby Herd, special friend, Markeeta Knight, uncles, Christopher Gammons, Charles Herd Jr., Christopher Herd, and Freddie Booker, aunts, Denise Fisher, Sharneil Coleman, Tamala Mathis, and Mary Gammons, nephew, De Anthony McShan Jr., niece, Treasure Robinson, and a host of cousins and friends. Terez was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparentts, and his paternal great-grandfather, Charles "PawPaw" Herd. Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2014 at Beloit Life Center 2170 Murphys Wood Road, Beloit, Wisconsin with Reverend Sherrick Anderson of Higher Ground Christian Center officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Committal at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit, Wisconsin will follow the service. Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home 424 Prospect Street, Beliot, Wisconsin 53511 is assisting the family.
